International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend

August 17th and 18th

International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend (ILLW) on August 1718 & at the Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse is one of many events scheduled during this year’s honoring of a Rochester treasure.

ILLW is a two-day event for hams of all experience levels to setup stations at lighthouses and lightships around the world. In addition to logging QSOs with other ILLW stations and lighthouse hunters, it is a great way to introduce amateur radio to lighthouse visitors.

Please join us to operate special event station K2JD and spread the word about our hobby. Elmers will be available for new HAMs. If you have a radio you want to try, bring it along. We will have antennas available.

Location:

Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse
70 Lighthouse St.
Rochester NY, 14612

(behind Holy Cross church on Lake Ave.)

Setup: Friday, August 16, 3-5 p.m.
